April 2015 ~ Spring Twist Blog Hop

April means we have a new mini idea book- Seasonal Expressions 2. For this blog hop we will be showcasing the beauty of what is offered but with a twist.... we will be showcasing at least ONE NEW item with at least ONE item from the larger Annual Inspirations Idea book. I decided that I wanted to make a 'spring card' for my last card class that I taught...so tired of Winter already!!  So I came up with this cute little spring card using the new blossom paper from the Seasonal Expressions 2 book with the cute Rainy Day stamp set $15.25 C1597 from the Annual Book!



 I stamped two images of each of the frames and cut out the center of one, attached it with pop dots to give it a 3D look....
I attached the umbrellas to scallop circles that were cut in half to prevent the umbrellas from sticking to the card back and to make it look like they are hanging from the clouds!!! 

 I got the cute idea of hanging the umbrellas from a Christmas/Winter Card...but made it a Spring Card!
